Ghalibaf is going to be a major candidate and probably the one to "beat".  Iran's most likely next "el Presidente"!  He seemed to have enjoyed some support because of being Tehran's mayor and doing some renovations and whatnot.

His recent positions such as the one in this interview and cracking down on election protestors in 2009 are now making him a mini-Ahmadi!  He speaks from both sides of his mouth, in one occasion he says holocaust was not a myth and then he says "Jihad economy and policy" is the way to go!

Imagine we go from "Holocaust is a myth" to "Jihad" anything!
